Liesl is a deep systems thinker with a passion for life on Earth who believes business can drive positive change. She has a proven track record of turning vision into reality, including initiating the Organic Cotton Accelerator and leading Textile Exchange's materials strategies, market reporting, and corporate benchmarking. She also led the Watch & Jewellery Initiative’s Nature Pillar at The Biodiversity Consultancy. Liesl advocates for collective intelligence, care, and collective action to navigate the needed transition and is currently setting up an initiative to support collective impact in sourcing landscapes. She holds a first class honours degree in Applied Science Environmental Assessment and Management from the University of Newcastle, NSW, Australia.
